Sale of CAT Admission Forms : 16th August 2007

Post Graduate Programme in Forestry Management
Eligibility : The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is at least a three year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE as eligible for Post Graduate studies with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST or Persons with Disability category).
Reservation of seats for SC, ST and physically handicapped candidates are available as per Govt. of India rules.
Candidates appearing for the final graduate examination are also eligible to apply, provided they complete it by June 30, 2008.
How To Apply
Step 1: All applicants seeking admission in PFM at IIFM, have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT), that will be held on 18th November, 2007. The CAT application form and bulletin can be obtained from selected branches of UTI Bank from July 16 till August 16, 2007, The last date for submitting CAT application is 8th September, 2007. The IIFM will use the CAT score only for short-listing of the candidates for postgraduate programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
Step 2 : IIFM Application Form
Candidate should also obtain IIFM application form personally or by sending Demand draft of Rs.700/- (350/- for SC&ST) only, in favour of The Director IIFM, payable at Bhopal. The application form can also be downloaded from our website given below. The application for download are also available at www.envindia.com & www.paryavaran.com. The application form shall also be available for sale from select study centres of IMS Learning Resources Pvt.Ltd. and Erudite Educational Centre Pvt.Ltd. In such cases the filled- in forms must accompany a Bank Draft of the specified amount.
Step 3 : GD/ Interview
Short-listed candidates shall be called for Group Discussion and Interview at IIFM, Bhopal during Feb/March 2008.
Foreign Nationals/ NRI
Admission under these categories will be based on separate selection system as mentioned in IIFM Admission bulletin 2008-2010.
