In this article, I will tell you the educational qualifications and selection process along with the online register procedure for the clerk jobs in banks.
It is being in news that
Union Bank of India
has started its recruitment procedure for the 1640 clerks which will be going to be close on the 16th of December 2010.
What are eligibility criteria for this exam?
* Firstly, before applying please check is there any place or vacancy for you in your own state because this procedure takes place according to the particular state.
* If your state has vacancies for own category then you must be 12th passed either from regular school or from correspondence but the percentage should be more than 60 percent and that too before 11 November 2010 otherwise your application will be rejected.
* In case you have less than 60 percent in 12th but more than that in your higher degree then you are consider to be fully qualified for this exam.
* Once you have clear the written test then the thing to concern is to have some computer certificate from the reputed organization which you have to show at the time of interview.
* You must know the local language of the state to which you are applying and the age must be between 18 to 28 for General category.
How to apply for the exam?
Before applying for the exam, I want to tell you that it is the clerk cum cahier job whose salary is between Rs 7200- 19200 and the online registration dates is from 26 November 2010 to 16 December 2010 and the written test is to be held on the 6 February 2010.
* Take the application form from the local shopkeeper from your locality or download from the personal website of the
Union Bank of India
and after filling the application fully then deposit the receipt/challan that you will get through the application and deposit Rs 300 after filling the receipt/ challan fully.
* One copy of the receipt will be take with you as the future reference and then open the official website of the
Union Bank of India
and then enter the complete information of your along with the unique Id number that will be there on the receipt and submit the application online.
* Once you have submitted the application then you are provided with application number and password. The notification of the same will be send to your email address, so ensure that you must remember your email id and password.
* This application form and password will be required in case you want to download your call letter for the written exam.
* The print out of all these processes should be taken out for the future reference if you are selected in the written test.
What is the selection process?
All that requires is to clear that written test and be careful while attempting the written examination because ¼ negative marking is there single wrong answer and once you have successfully cleared the written test then you must be called for the interview and after clearing the interview, you must be selected.
Only 1/3 students are selected from the all the students selected in written test. Suppose 15 students are selected in written test from any particular state then only 5 students will be placed for the filled application job.
