2011 IPL 4 Auction dates, players list, rules, bids prices, results

This article gives you information on the IPL 4 auction dates, location, list of players, rules, format, updates and results. As soon as the ICC Cricket World Cup is over, the IPL 4 will begin!

When the Indian Premier League (IPL) was first launched, it generated a lot of excitement due to its unique concept of having cricketers from across the globe playing together in a team. For the first time you got to see, for example, Hayden and Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and Jayasuriya, Sehwag and McGrath, and other cricket superstars playing as team mates. The consecutive years after the IPL debut continued to generate a lot of buzz. After IPL 3, there was a cloud over the future of IPL after corruption allegations and tax evasions surfaced and Lalit Modi, the brain behind the IPL concept, was forced to resign. The concept, though, was too good to bury. After all, it raked in the moolah for BCCI! So IPL did not get a funeral, but a resurrection with new rules and more teams. This in turns means more matches and more exciting days of cricket!

The IPL 4 auction will be managed by Chirayu Amin.
