How to reach Bannerghatta National Park

There are buses that runs between Bangalore and Bannerghatta National Park. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) runs bus services from the following places in Bangalore.
  • From Kempe Gowda Bus stand(Majestic) - Bus Route No: 365, 365J and all 365 series bus.

  • From K R Market - Bus Route No: 366

  • From Brigade Road - Bus Route No: G4

  • From Yelahanka Satellite Town - Bus Route No: 365M

  • From Bagalkunte - Bus Route No: 366P

  • From IIM, Bangalore - Head straight (away from the city) for about 12 Kms. You will reach Bannerghata Circle (You will see Bannerghata Police Station) – go straight on the narrow road. Do not take the big road turning left – that goes to Jigani/Anekal. From this circle, Bannerghata Park is 2 kms. Do ask anyone about Park to confirm.

  • From Shivajinagar bus stand - Bus Route No: 368

Bannerghatta national park pimings, holiday, safari timings:
  • The park is open from 09:00 am to 05:30 pm.

  • Tuesday is holiday

  • Safari timings: 09:00 am to 04:30 pm, but the zoo is open till 05:30 pm. They are planning to introduce night safari, which will take a long time to materialize.

Bannerghatta national park entry fee and good time to visit:

Zoo + Safari - Rs.160(all days)
Entry fee and zoo - Rs.45(all days)
Elephant ride - Rs.60(only on Saturday, Sunday and Govt.Holidays)
Butterfly Park - Rs.25
Best time: November to June
