There are two types of letters. 1) Personal 2) Business


 

There are two types of letters

1)Personal letters

A personal letter is written to convey ones feeling towards their relatives, friends and towards people with whom one share an informal bonding.

2)Business letters

A personal letter is written to apply for the leaves and to complaint about the matter etc.

Sample type of a Personal letter

Sender's address
Sender's phone number
E-mail address

Date

Dear (informal)/ sir or madam (formal)

*Introduction

*Body of the letter (preferred to be split into paragraphs)

* conclusion

Thanking you.
Sincerely,
Sender's name
Signature

Name of the receiver
Receiver's Address
