Three Months’ Residential Programme on Professional Skills Development
(General Management, Personality Development and Communication Skills)
The Institute has decided to organise three months residential programme for Chartered Accountant students and recently passed Chartered Accountant final students. The programme will help students in imbibing the professional skills required for effective functioning in business organisations and profession. The Programme would focus on development of communication skills, personal qualities, interpersonal and teamwork skills, working within complex and turbulent environment, problem solving skills and leadership skills.
The programme would be divided in six modules covering Corporate Communications, Developing Personal Traits, Strategic Management, Practice Development and Management, Professional Business Environment, Multi-Disciplinary Case Studies in the areas of relevance to the profession, and would also include field visit and interaction with the persons of eminence. Sessions would also be held on yoga, meditation and group activities. The first programme is scheduled to start from 28th April, 2008 at the National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad having campus of 42 acres, beautifully landscaped and offering a calm and serene academic environment. Reputed faculty drawn from academia, industry and profession would interact with the participants.
Broad outlines of the programme would be hosted in the website by 1st April, 2008. The Institute also proposes to appropriately subsidise the costs.
