ABOUT EARTH HOUR
Earth Hour is the act of turning off the lights for one hour to drive home the dangers of global warming.
On March 31, 2007, for one hour, Sydney made a powerful statement about the greatest contributor to global warming - coal - by turning off its lights. Over 2.2 million residents and over 2,100 businesses switched off, leading to a 10.2% energy reduction across the city. What began as one city taking a stand against global warming caught the world’s attention
In 2008, 24 global cities were expected to participate in Earth Hour at 8 pm on March 29.

I thank you for bringing this to the notice of the members of ISC I saw it on the CNN yesterday and I'm just thinking of writing something about it before I saw your own it will be repetition of effort if I do. I just want to advice that all of us should do one thing or the other to contribute in effort to reduce global warming because it is the sole contributor to world climate change. A drop they say makes an ocean an individual is a drop in the ocean called the world. Do you own and encourage other in your immediate environment to do same and we will be moving towards redeeming our climate. Olufemi
