Choosing a job is a wise decision for an individual. When the candidate attain job through campus interview then the job that is offered to him is secured and he need not worry about most of the aspects. But when he is looking out for a job he should consider many points because once he takes up a job he cannot resign easily. He should take into consideration many points before applying for a job but neither should he become very choosy. He must be clever enough whether he should comprise for the factor for the job. He should remember that he cannot get all the convenience he wants.
Factors to be considered before applying for a job
Nature of the job
He should read the advertisement mentioned in the paper or net very carefully. He should not forget to read the details of the work profile mentioned in the ad. After reading the details he should analyze whether the job profile matches his skills and education. He should also read the role and responsibilities of the candidate and analyze if he can cope up with the pressures. But at the same time he should think in a confident manner. He should not underestimate his skills either. The candidate searching for the job should be matured enough to know his skills. He should not come to a conclusion that he has chosen a wrong job profile later on. Some people have technical skills but are poor in the aspects of communication. The people who are not comfortable with front office operations due to their skills to communicate should not choose such a job. They should choose a job according to their ability.
Research on the web
When you read an advertisement about the company then extract the information about the company by viewing the web pages. You can get a lot of information about the profile of the company and also the role and responsibilities are clearly defined. You can also get to know if the company's profile would prove to be prospective for your career. The company where you want to work should offer career growth.
Distance and convenience
The office should preferably be located closer to his residence. Because commuting to the office and returning home would require more time. He or she should not experience loss of energy due to longer distance. But if the office is located at the distance then at least the commuting facility should be convenient. He must be able to reach the office on time rather than returning. He should properly note the timings of the buses if he is traveling by bus.
The payment that is offered by the company should be adequate enough to meet your daily and monthly expenses. The payment offered by them should also be in alignment to the role and responsibilities offered by them. They should preferably mention a suitable structure of payment in the advertisement. If you are not convinced with the payment structure by viewing the advertisement, then call up the person and be clear with the payment terms. But if you are a fresher you do expect a very high salary either. Compare the salary offered to your friends and seniors when they were in the same position.
Have a conversation
When you are impressed with the advertisement of a company then call up to the contact number mentioned so that you can have a warm conversation with the personal and know some aspects of the job. So you do not face a sense of nervousness before attending the interview.

Yes choosing a right job in a persons life is very very important. Normally a person applies for many jobs in one go and sometimes the call for job offers comes from different quarters in same time. Confused over to take decision, the person simply commits mistake by choosing the wrong job offer and then repent. This kind of situation has happened with many of my friends. We should not weigh any job on pay scales alone. The working environment, the future promotions and over all the reputation of the company in public goes hand in hand to decide the best job. I have seen that people simply join the company for good pay and later complain that there are too much harassment and no better working atmosphere and that will eventually lead to leaving the job in huff even forgoing the salary or giving the required notice.
