TAMIL NADU STATE LEVEL PLACEMENT PROGRAMME
(2008 PASSING OUT STUDENTS)
Anna University Chennai is planning to organize the Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP) for the Present Final Year (2008 Passing Out) Students of Anna University Studying in 222 Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions has agreed to participate in the Campus Placement on 5th & 6th April, 2008. The Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna University Chennai is planning to conduct this programme at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore for the 2008 Passing Out Students of COIMBATORE REGION.
As per the requirements of M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions the students from Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation and Instrumentation & Control Engineering stream will be considered for recruitment. It is mandatory that all the students should secure 60% and above marks in their 10th & 12th Standard and an average of 72% and above from I Semester to VII Semester in B.E. / B.Tech. The MCA, MS (Software Engineering) & MSc 5 Years Integrated (CSE & IT) students with 60% and above marks consistently from Xth Standard onwards are also eligible to participate. The participants should have no standing arrears. It is requested that the Principal / Placement Officers of the College should verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend the campus placement.
All the eligible candidates have to pay one time Registration fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only) each in the form of a Demand draft drawn in favour of “The Director, CUIC, Anna University” payable at Chennai. Candidates who have already paid the Registration fee to Anna University Chennai need not pay again. However they have to produce the Anna University Chennai passbook at the time of verification. Candidates should submit the Annexure - II form along with the Demand Draft at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, Venue itself on 05.04.2008 at the time of registration.
