Centralised B.Ed Admission at University of North Bengal for the session-2011


This article describes about the Centralised B.Ed Admission at University of North Bengal for the session-2011. Read to know about the eligibility for fresher and deputed candidates.

The duration of the course is one full academic year from July to June. The academic session will commence from the 1 July of each year.

Eligibility for Admission:

A candidate shall be eligible for admission into the B.Ed Course if he/she has passed the Undergraduate examination in Arts / Science / Commerce / Fine Arts / Music or any other school
based subject.
Fresher Candidates:
Each candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in the Graduation / P.G.
level. Persons belonging to SC / ST shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 45% marks in the
aggregate in the Graduation / P.G. level. The age of the applicant shall not be above 35 years as on 30/06/2011
Deputed Candidates:
Each candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in the Graduation / Post
graduation level. Persons belonging to SC/ ST shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 45% marks in the aggregate in the Graduation / P.G. level. Deputed Teachers from any Govt. or Govt. aided
school having at least two year approved teaching experience within the state of West Bengal are
eligible.



University of North Bengal Centralized B.Ed Admission has been conceived to alleviate the problems of the students for filling up of multiple forms for admission to the B.Ed course in different colleges under the same University. It is also aimed to bring in transparency in the entire process, so that students can be placed in the College of their choice in accordance with their merit.
