Help her learn, grow & shine
If you have given birth to a daughter or if your daughter has entered class I, VI, IX or XII or she has passel:ld class X, then under this Laadli Scheme, on completing the age of 18 years and getting admission in class xliii avail the benefit of approximately Rs. 1lakh, make her study; let her grow and help make her future bright. Soon after the registration Delhi Government will open a bank account in your daughter's name with RS.1 0000/-. If the girl is born in hospital or maternity home etc., RS.11000/-will be deposited. Government will again deposit Rs.5000/- in the same account each time when she takes admission in class I, VI and IX ..
• Another sum of Rs. 5000/- will be deposited each time when she passes Class X and takes admission in class XII. In new academic session 2008-09, the girls taking admission -in Class I, VI, IX or XII (in any of them) as well as those passing Class X can apply under this scheme within 90 days. 'The parents of girls born after 1 sl January 2008 can also apply for the same within one year. Eligibility conditions for application-
Total family income should be less than Rupees 1 Lakh per annum. (Income certificate or affidavit should be attached)
The girl should have been born in Delhi and the applicant should have been residing in Delhi for the last 3 years. (Birth and Death Certificate from the Registrar, Ration Card/ Voter I D Card or any other valid identity proof should be attached) .. • This scheme is limited to only two girls per family.
With the above said documents, the girl or her parents can obtain the application form from their nearest authorized branch of State Bank of India/Government Schools/Education Officer/ Deputy Education Officer/ Depu Director Education / Aanganbadi centers and district offices, Women and Child Development,and get it duly fill ~ with the help of Headmaster/ Principal of the School and submit the same at any of the above mentioned places. Under the scheme all these officers are authorized to issue the application form, verify the documents wherever necessary and issue Acknowledgment / Receipt to the applicant.
