I had an interview in Infosys on 2-june-2007.It was conducted in Bhimavaram,West Godavari dist.
First we had a written round in which we were asked to fill up an application form before having the test.This is done because in Infosys a person who attende and failed in the interview is not supposed to attend again before 9 months.
Then we were given a test paper which is conducted for 90 mins.And the paper had 2 modules
1.First is on verbal for 40 marks.purely multiple choise.
2.Second one is the aptitude for 30 marks.
Total is for 70 marks in 90 mins.There is a sectional coutoff in each section.
The results were announced after waiting for 4 hours.Iwas selected for the next round.On that day we did'nt had any technical interview.The students who got selected in the written were directly send to the HR.My HR turn came at 9.45 pm.I was all waiting for my turn.It was too late when i got my turn for HR.Any way atlast i got my time.I went in to the HR's room.
Gave a firm shakehand to the HR person.He looked at me and said -
HR-"It is too late now i know you are tired a bit.But be cool don't be tensed.Is this your first one"
Me-"As it was my first one i said Yes"
HR-"OK then lets get in to the interview"
Me-"OK,sir"
HR-"What is your name?"
Me-" Isaid my name."
HR-"OK,Do you know your 'Gothram'? "
Me-"Yes,and i said my gothram"
HR-"OK,then What do you know about technically?"
Me-"I said that infosys is a technological organization which provides it based business solutions to the business oranizations throughout the world"
HR-"Ok,I will give you a topic and you have to talk on that with out break for 2 mins.And your topic is "Present educational system" "
Me-"I talked on it for 2 mins.Then he stopped me after 2 mins"
HR-"Then,he gave me a situation and 3 question on it and asked me to answer it."
(I already placed it in this site)
Me-"I was able to answer two of them"
HR-" Then he wished me good night and said you may go."
After completion of the reound the results were declared and i found that i was not selected for that company.But after that company i was selected for another MNC.
