Delhi Combined Entrance Examination 2008 Notification
University of Delhi will hold Combined Entrance Examination (CEE – 2008) for admission to first Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses in Delhi College of Engineering and Netaji Subhas Institute of Tehnology for the session 2008-2009 for Delhi Region only (85% Seats) will be held on Saturday, the 31st May, 2008. The admission to 15% seats reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates (Outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) shall be made on the basis of All India Merit Rank in AIEEE-2008 to be conducted by C.B.S.E. All the candidates belonging to Outside Deli Region (Outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) are advised to appear in AIEEE-2008 as per their schedule. The criterion for deciding the eligibility of an applicant to a seat reserved for any Region is the location of the School/ College/ Institution from which the candidate has passed the qualifying examination on the basis of which he/she is seeking admission.
Delhi CEE 2008 Eligibility
A candidate passing any one of the following examinations and securing 60% or more marks (50% for SC/ST) in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be eligible for admission to the First Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Programme provided he/she has passed in each subject separately:
i) Senior School Certificate Examination (12 Years Course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) New Delhi. 49 ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-years Course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination , New Delhi./ Any other examination recognised as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E. by the University of Delhi.
Minimum Age : 17 Years as on 1 Oct. 2008
