Open position – Position 1 - QA (AutomationTesting) (Ref: SQE – Rational Robot / QTP)
Job Profile: To aid in the production of quality software produced by SunGard AvantGard through the addition, maintenance and improvement of the regression suite
Job Role:
• Create efficient automated tests that accurately reflect test plans.
• Continually run the completed automated and manual tests and log all results.
• Clearly define and log software errors.
• Ensure that all processes and standards are understood and complied with.
• Write NUnit scripts
Total Experience
• 3 – 5 years
Mandatory Skills
• Communication (English spoken, written and comprehension)
• Rational Robot (or other GUI automated tool experience)
• Software development skills/ principles
Desirable Skills
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
o Financial (Treasury / Accounting)
o Structured software testing
o Software Engineering
• NUnit exposure
• VB scripting, C# or XML exposure
• Sound analytical, design and problem solving skills
• A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts
• Analytical and logical approach to issues and problems
Position 2 - QA (Automation Testing) (Ref: SQE - TestComplete)
Job Profile: Implement & maintain ATF (Auto Test Framework) through designing and writing code in TestComplete
Job Role:
• Take ownership of functional areas within the ATF
• Evaluate and recommend development methods and perform ATF design
• Write technical specifications and maintain technical documentation for ATF
• Remain up to date with functional and technical changes within the ATF
• Remain up to date with new technologies and practices relevant to the ATF
• Continually run the completed automated and manual tests and log all results
• Clearly define and log software errors
• Ensure that all processes and standards are understood and complied with
Total Experience
• 3 – 5 years
Mandatory Skills
• Communication (English spoken, written and comprehension)
• GUI auto test tool – design & write code
• Software development skills/ principles
• SQL 2000/ 2005 – design & write code
Desirable Skills
• Automated QA TestComplete (GUI auto test tool) exposure
• VB scripting and/ or C# knowledge
• Able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively
• Sound analytical, design and problem solving skills
• Analytical and logical approach to issues and problems
