It gives me grate pleasure to express some of my experiences I had during my Interview. My initial preparations to attend an interview and the outcome of it has enriched my personality a lot. I have come across several interviews and I would like to share some of them in this session.

First of all let me tell you that my vouch for job was for a Secretarial position.
My educational qualification is Graduation in Arts and in addition had expertisement towards Shorthand, Typing to senior level and ofcourse Computer literate.

Initially I started my interview for the position of Secretary to COO (Chief Operating Officer). This was my first interview. This was an Engineering Company (A Small Scale Industry-dealing with manufacturing activities) and also Software Development.

Since this was my first interview, I had initial preparations towards certain question which an interviewer would generally ask – Say “Tell me something about yourself”,
“What would you feel the nature of duties are to a Secretary” etc. etc…..

After attending the interview, the questions asked were “Tell me something about yourself and your family”, (Please remember that this is the general question any interviewer would ask – so be prepared for this before attending for an interview).
I gave the explanation about myself and my family background.

Secondly “About my schooling , college which I studied and about my other courses like shorthand and typing”.

Since this was my first job, I was dictated a letter and was asked to type in a computer and take a print of it. As I could do it without any errors, I was told that they will let me know the result of the same within a week time.

I was called up within a week and told to join the job. Hence started my carrier with this company which gave me enough of scope to look for brighter prospects in life. My initial job was a real school which I knew what a job is and what it really meant. Dedication and sincerity would mean a lot for a work place. I learnt this from this Company and my hard work paid me and still paying. I thank this company for giving me such a wonderful work exposure.

I have several other interview experiences which I would like to share in a separate message.

Thanks and best regards,
Mala.
