Admission in College:
Really College life plays very important role, it provides the shape and structure of the student's future. Most of us will just remember the college life when they will get to see this article here, But the same time students who are about to get admission will have little a sort of worry. After finishing the schooling, students are having a little confusing time to decide the courses and colleges. This matters a lot the decision taken by the students after schooling has to do a lot with his future and career.
Decision of Courses:
This is a kind of tension for the students who does not have proper guidance and all. My recommendation for all students is that they should decide the course from their inner heart. No one else can know you better then yourself. Its you have to face the reality of the stream you are going to choose. So students should just listen to their heart, not the copy paste. Do not ever try to copy-paste like other is doing so i should do and all. It will not help you at all. Listen to each and every one but do what you want to do?
Selection of Colleges:
Well, Once the students have decided their field of interest to pursue or the stream which they have chosen. Everybody knows that College life is the fantastic life, Really it is the most awesome stage of life. But some time if you could not get the college what you deserve, It becomes quit complicated to adjust and enjoy the college life. Anyway my suggestion is, Do not hurry to select your college, you have full right to inquiry as much as you want. Before admission do inquire about the college up to your satisfaction, When you full satisfied with the college go and get admission. Here i am going to point out various terms which may be helpful for you to select the best college for your bright future.
1. Make a College Wish List
This will help you to get proper details of the college you want to go. We know there are number of colleges so it is very tough for a students to inquire here and there. This is the best way to select the college well student can make the wish list of the college they are interested and then they can collect further information about the college. But the wish list should be made with the help of some knowledgeable person.
2. Visit the Campus
Students of the college can get you the correct and the exact situation of the college. That is the best idea to inquire we should contact the students studying in the same college. They can better guide you. Before getting admission a student must visit the campus of the college, well campus matters a lot.
3. Talk to People Who Went to College
Here is the another way to get to know about the college you wish to go. You should contact the people who has finished the study from particular college, They can guide you and they can share the experience of his study. So you should try to meet some people who went to same college for same stream if possible.
4. Meet with Your Counselor
A counselor plays very important role and they can help you very much to let you choose your college for your stream. As we know a counselor is having lot more ideas about the college and they have experience too. So get help from counselor even they can read you and according to your interest they can suggest you the best college.
5. Cost
We know that to pursue the college education is really costly. Even for some stream banks are providing the loan to the cent students. Always try to get the cost for the college and stream you are looking and it must be affordable by your parents or there may be problem later and you may have to stop study. So its better to decide earlier and to go for the affordable one.
6. Location
College must be in some peaceful area or out of the city. If a college is in crowd area then there may be always a problem of crowd and noise. So the location of the college should be proper and reachable from your home if you are looking in your town. The location and area matters for the college.
7. Stream & Extracurricular activities
Sometimes we can see that a college is best and popular for the stream X then at tat time student should not go for the stream Y in that college. Rather it is better to get a college which can provide nice education of your stream. So our choice of course or stream matters a lot here.
8. Affiliation & Transportation
Government are having some units and organisation which handles the management and proper maintenance of the college. A college must be affiliated with university which is going to provide the certificate to the students. Sometimes university matters a lot for students then college. There are different affiliation for different kind of college so check well that college is affiliated or licensed.
9. Student-faculty ratio
This is another very important point for a good college. In an average college there should be the average of 15:1, So that students could get proper guidance and support from faculty unit. Even a guardian of the students should inquiry about the Student-faculty ratio in the college. If a college is not having well ratio of student-faculty then we can not expect nice study environment from that college.
10. Placements & Industry Interaction
Placement is very important for the students but sometimes they are just misled the students by showing some fake placement reports and all. My recommendation is that students should get correct placement statistics of the college as true picture of placement is very critical.
Industry Interaction is also very helpful for students and it really helps in getting live projects, industry visits, seminars and placements. Students should make sure the placement and industry interaction is well supported with concerning industry.

By seeing this heading one should not come to a conclusion that by selecting a good college/school, the student need not study anything. The college or school selection should be based on :
1.Family circumstances - This is important because if the college/school is very popular means they will defenitely charge a huge fees. To meet out the expenses the parents are to suffer. To avoid such thing the selection of college/school should be within the limit of capacity of parents.
2. Proximity to the residence - Many of us joining our children in the college/school which is at a quite distance from the house by considering/getting reffered that as a best one. Later, it is found that the children is not returning home in time etc., The children also wasting their time in travelling moreover, they got tired by travelling and start taking rest without food and further homestudy.

Thank you for your comment, I do agree with you. But i do not think your two points can let a student to choose the best college. Students need to think all aspects after all its all about his career.

Your post was very useful. But other than basic amenities, a stuedent should have in mind three things - Placements, Placement training and the pass percentage of the department concerned.
