Introduction :
Leadership in an organization is responsible to provide continuity to an organization in present and to work towards creating future for an organization. Talented knowledge workers facilitate adding knowledge as a resource to organizational processes. In turn, it ensures that organizations are able to compete and survive in the present, and grow in the future. Globalization and liberalization of the world economy in the recent past has led to enormous job and career opportunities for the talented knowledge workers in different parts of the world. Hence, leadership in knowledge as well as traditional organizations need to define strategies, develop systems and take actions to be able to identify, attract, motivate and retain knowledge workers.
The programme based on extensive research and consultancy work of the faculty focuses on helping the participants to get in touch with the world of the talented knowledge workers in terms of their hopes, aspirations and confusions. Further the programme suggests strategies and measures to be taken by the Top Management along with HR-Head to develop systems and processes for Talent Management.

Participant Profile
Participants will be CEO, Senior Executives and Head of Human Resources.
Unique Aspects of the Programme:
Every participating organization needs to send a team of minimum two members: CEO/Senior Executives and Head/Senior HR Executives.
The programme is a residential programme.
All the participating organizations are expected to share their challenges and concerns related with talent management. They are also invited to share some of the best practices followed by them, which have helped them in retaining talent.
All the participating organizations will be helped in developing specific action-plans to be implemented back home. After the programme, participants can draw limited support from the faculty for implementing their respective action-plans.
Programme Director and Faculty Resources
Dr. Narendra M. Agrawal is a Professor, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. He has a rich industrial, consultancy and academic experience. More than four hundred Management Development Programmes have been designed and conducted by Prof. Agrawal for organizations both in India and abroad. He has worked as a consultant for public and private sector organizations in manufacturing and service sectors. Prof. Agrawal’s current research interests are the human side of IT and IT Enabled Services industries, managing knowledge workers, change management and creating learning organizations.
In addition to institute faculty, CEOs and HR Professionals who have successfully instituted talent management processes and systems will be invited to share their experiences and learning.
