Introduction
Total cost management (TCM) focuses at enterprise level Cost Management System (CMS). In this program we seek to integrate TCM with strategic perspective. Participants would be able to conceptualise on reengineering their focus and re-designing their system towards linking strategy and cost management through the framework of TCM. The course also deals with the changes required in the existing accounting system to develop information relevant to strategic decision-making and creating value through accounting systems.

Programme Director’s Profile
Dr. M S Narasimhan is a Professor of Finance and Control Area. He is also currently the Chairperson of the Executive Education Programmes. Dr. Narasimhan holds Ph.D. and also a member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He has published several articles and research studies in national and international journal and newspapers relating to capital markets, finance and management accounting. His consulting assignments include cash management, costing system, financial and portfolio management, risk management and organization restructuring. He has also conducted several executive education programmes in the area of finance and capital markets.
