Dabugaon Girls High School
About School : A month's stipend for the school, which has 170 resident students at Rs 325 per person, is Rs 55,000. The individual stipend covers food, two school uniforms, underwear and toiletry. A separate amount is paid for textbooks and writing materials but these are paid five to six months after a new session has begun.
This creates a shortage of books, which hinders teaching. A student who fails to be promoted to the next class loses the school the entitlement to the individual stipend. Most girls fail in Science and Mathematics because of a shortage of teachers in those subjects. There is, however, a Cash Reward Scheme under which Rs 100,000 was disbursed by the government in 2002 to teachers, for improving their students' performance in scheduled area high schools and residential schools, to which the school belongs.

About School : The school traces its origin to 1899, when a group of protestant missionaries who had come to the hills on vacation and were staying at Brooklands Christian Guest Home in nearby Coonoor decided it would be of enormous benefit to the well-being of their children to live year round in the temperate and clean environs of the Nilgiri hills. Holy Angel's Convent Trivandrum

About School : Miss Emilie Kimmins, who established Kimmins school in 1898, was a member of the Zenana Bible and Medical Missionary Fellowship, and it was while she was working as Principal of Queen Mary School in Bombay that she became deeply concerned for the education of the European and Anglo Indian children who needed to leave Bombay because of their health problems. Her answer was to offer these children a good education in the healthy climate of Panchgani. She remained at the school until 1921, and made such an outstanding contribution to the Hill Station and to the schools in Panchgani that she has been referred to as the "Queen of Panchgani". About School : The school is spread over some 134 acres, with about 250 cadets. Candidates for the school are selected from all over India through RIMC entrance exam  held twice a year in each state. Successful candidates in entrance exams have to go through a medical fitness test to be admitted to the school. Every year about 50 students are selected from all over India and are admitted to class VIII.
Students, or cadets as they are called, follow the CBSE syllabus of education over the next 5 years and also take part in a wide range of extracurricular activities which brings out talent, camaraderie and leadership in them. Rishi Valley School
About School : Rishi Valley School is a boarding school in India, founded by the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. It is located close to the town of Madanapalle, Krishnamurti's birthplace, in the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Rishi Valley is a 3 hour drive from Bangalore.
The school accepts students from standards (grades) 4-12 (UK years 5-13) in about 21 boarding houses. About School : Sahyadri School is a boarding school, located in the Sahyadri ranges of Maharashtra. It is run by the Krishnamurti Foundation, India (KFI), on the teachings of the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. It is believed that it was Krishnamurti's wish to have a school in Western India, and after he breathed his last (1986), the Foundation began working on the setting up of this school.
The first group of students to graduate from Sahyadri was in 1999 with the tenth batch graduating in the upcoming year, 2008. It is the youngest school amongst all the KFI schools all over the world.
The school is off the Pune-Nashik highway, at a distance of approximately 25 kilometers from Rajgurunagar (Khed). The closest cities are Pune (75 km) or Mumbai (a little less than 200 km).
