ndira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is soon going to launch Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Laws from July 2008 session which seeks to address the changing needs of knowledge society in area of cyber laws.
The objective of the course is to enable learner to acquire critical understanding in cyber law, the emerging social and intellectual property issues, explore legal and policy developments in various countries to regulate cyberspace and to develop competencies for dealing fraud and deceptions using cyber space.
The eligibility for enrolment is graduate in any discipline.
The student handbook and prospectus can be obtained from the registrar SR&E, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi and Regional Centres on payment of Rs. 50 in cash.
The filled in forms must reach School of Law, Block-G, Academic Complex, IGNOU, New Delhi-68 by registered post.
