After serving for an Engineering Company, I made up my mind to look for other company which would enrich my knowledge various other fields. As such I happened to attend an interview with a liaison office which had trading contacts with overseas companies to market various engineering based products. The General Manager of the Company interviewed me. My first question was to tell about my previous company. The nature of job they did. I explained that it was an engineering company also a SSI unit even doing software developing etc. Secondly what are the benefits like PF, ESI, Gratuity and other thing I got in my previous company. I explained that I did have these benefits and had general holidays with a special leave of 3rd Saturday as off. 3rd question was why do you want to quit your job when you have such good benefits. I told I want a change to learn more and more. 4th question was about my role in the previous company. I explained that I was a secretary to Chief operating officer and about role as secretary. 5th – I was given a dictation and was told to get a print of it. I did my job perfectly and was informed that they will let me know the results in due course. I was selected and served the company well.
