Movie review- The rise of the planet of the apes

This is the movie review of the hollywood movie "The rise of the planet of the apes". In this article I have provided some details regarding the movie, the storyline and a review from my side. It is the top hollywood movie of the current year.

Movie Review- Rise of planet of the Apes

Storyline

Will Rodman (James Franco) is a doctor in a pharmaceutical company researching for cure for Alzheimer's disease. One day while testing the drug on an ape (Bright Eyes), he finds astonishing results. One day the ape got loose and was eventually shot down, but she conceived a baby which Will eventually takes home. Later he finds out that the effects of the drug were passed on to the baby. One day Will steals the drug from the company and gives it to his father as he was an Alzheimer's Patient.
The baby chimp Ceaser grows to be quite intelligent and due to various reasons is sent to a sanctuary where he plots on leading the group and one day escapes from the place to steal the drug. Later he releases the drug to other apes. The apes get loose and cause quite a havoc until Will comes and makes Ceaser understand the reality.
In the final scene however it is implied that the virus gets spread and hence rise of the planet of the apes.

Review

The movie was good in many ways and we can easily ignore the mistakes or loopholes. The development of characters is quite well done and James Franco's acting is really commendable. Frieda Pinto however didn't had the dream role with this movie. The best thing about the movie is the realistic look of the apes. Although it is CGI still it looks almost real and have a certain amount of depth in it. The music is good and is quite apt for the situations.
The real hero of the movie or the best part of the movie is Ceaser. His character is shown evolving quite well and we can feel his situation. I would definitely recommend this movie to all Hollywood movie enthusiasts and guarantee that you will thoroughly enjoy the movie.
In short it is worth your time and money
