This advance technology of internet access will allow the users for most efficient and cost-effective computing through the centralized storage, memory, processing and flexible bandwidth allocations during operations.

Since the services are delivered through internet providing cloud symbol representing internet in flowchart and diagrams it is named as cloud computing.
Cloud service provider like Googles, Yahoo, Oracle maintains server and email management software on the cloud internet.

Cloud computing provides dynamically scalable virtualized resource services through internet which are delivered from a cluster of web servers connected in the network system.

What are the main advantages of cloud computing?

•There is no possibility of computer hard disk crash or virus attack on customer's computer as service provider takes care of the problems by their technical experts and anti-virus protection software installed in server.
•Registered members after paying service connection charges can avail roun the clock services offered by the service provider.
•Cost-effective because the customers need not have any investment cost against hardware, software, capacity augmentation along with time to time maintenance and trouble shooting of their computer and servers.
•Users will have to variable charges to the service providers according to usages.
•Agreement between service provider and the customer can be terminated at any time without any penalty charges.

How cloud computing works?

Cloud computing have both front end and back end working facilities connecting each other in the organization through network connectivity. In front end the users work in the internet are visible where as in back end is the cloud section where clients are not visible.

In front end section client's computer requires application software to access cloud computing system. On the back end section there are many servers and data banks system which create a cloud in such advanced technology.

The central server in cloud computing system monitors traffic and client demand for smooth operations all the time. The protocols of cloud computing system provides a special software known as middle-ware to maintain connectivity between each other.

To meet demands increasing clients the system may require gradual augmentation of digital storage capacity to store all the client's information and data in storage devices for users facilities.

In cloud computing there are facilities to copy and store client's information to enable the central server to access back ups in order to retrieve any data and information if require which is called redundancy.

What are some of the applications of cloud computing?

•Cloud computing have enormous applications now a days for fast and efficient computer internet services in business, education and researches etc. The most efficient architectures in cloud computing system could execute multitask and multiple programs like normal computing devices.
•Clients could access the cloud computing in order to access their stored applications and data from any places using any computer linked with internet after log in to their registered cloud computing system as data is stored in the remote storage devices in the entire network system.

Are there any disadvantages in cloud computing?

•In spite of many benefits there are some disadvantages in regard to security and privacy of clients posing great concern to corporate houses to switch over to this newly invented internet technology.
•To save guard privacy while accessing from other places authentication process must be ensured to access their relevant data and information only. Otherwise they may be tempering of companies secret data and information.
