This is for SAP-BASIS Consultant, who are keen for challenging career and projects, we have a great opportunity for you with one of our tier-1 client.

Location: Anywhere in India
Experience: 4– 8 years (Min. 4 yrs of relevant exp in SAP)
Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.Com/M.Sc
Role: Senior SAP Basis Administrator with Project Management Skills
Level: Senior Tech Lead
Skills/Characteristics Required:
1. Needs to have at least 4 - 6 years of SAP Basis experience, including customer facing experience.
2. Must be knowledgeable in ECC 5.0, 6.0, BI, Portals, CRM, SCM, PLM (does not necessarily need to be an expert in every module, but must have troubleshooting experience).
3. Must have deep knowledge and experience with the NetWeaver 2004s platform (BI, EP, XI, etc). This skill is absolutely necessary.
4. Thorough knowledge in Windows OS platform.
5. Knowledge in Oracle & MS SQL databases.
6. Network troubleshooting experience.
7. Performance management, tuning, etc
8. Understanding on how VMWare works.
9. Knowledgeable about backups, restores etc.
10. Will be expected to perform installations, upgrades, applying support packages, enhancement packages, notes, etc. with very little to no direction.
11. Communicating appropriately and in a timely manner with the requester (end user), the business, and the various BE entities that this role will need to interface with, including MSOG, Hosting Operations, IT, GSE, etc.
12. Must be proactive and self-motivated, and not wait for direction.
13. Must be easily understood and possess excellent English communication skills, both verbal and writing skills. This individual will work with project teams and all levels of individuals. Must be an outstanding communicator so as to ensure his/her understanding of the goal of the project(s) and tasks and to act as a liaison with project teams and more junior members of the technical team.
14. Should poses understanding of SAP beyond the technical perspective.
15. Will manage and give direction to more junior Basis administrators.
16. Must possess project management skills and experience. Must have a demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and meet project deadlines.
17. Must have the ability to work in a matrixed environment and meet the needs of multiple clients
