Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Content development
Developing Software documentation as required including user manuals, reference guides, fact sheets, release notes or functional specifications
Process related documents
Researches audience needs and analyzes source material. This includes talking to knowledgeable staff, such as programmers and product managers, and reading software specifications and other design documents.
Working to revise and finalize content. The technical writer is responsible for following defined style guidelines, and works closely with the technical editor to ensure the help-content is complete and meets quality standards
Helping to design the documentation products and to revise product designs as necessary
Understands and uses content management principles and follows company standards for content development.
Requisites:
Should be expert in Instructional Designing,
Have experience in developing process & system training materials
has excellent verbal / written & communication skills
Ability to interact with developers and SMEs
Grasp the technical concepts quickly and have an analytical approach to documentation
Proficiency in technical writing tools like Microsoft Office, RoboHelp, Adobe FrameMaker
Qualification: Graduate degree in English, Education, Instructional Design, Mass Communication, or Journalism
