And still you doubt me.
After all of this,
and all this time You doubt in me.
The bonds we built through precious moments.
Yet forsaken.
Yet forgotten still.
As if you weren't there for those.
Do you recall those times?
The times we laughed.
I mean we ripped it up.
The times I gave you blessings.
I had wished you well.
Yes, I was there for that.
The times you were afraid,
I came upon you With which to give you blessings.
And other times when you were plagued with questions And uncertainties.
I listened and I cared.
I gave you hard solutions,
yes. Because I loved you.
I was there.
Do you recall?
And what about the sicknesses that came and went?
The favors never asked for?
The inspirations, miracles,
And little joys from day to day.
Were you alone for those?
I beg to differ.
And still.
And still you doubt me.
And still.And still.
Were you there the day I cried for you?
For you it was I cried, the day I heard.
I stopped,
I sat there and I cried For you The day I felt the hurt.
Your hurt.
The day your pain became my own.
I owned it.
It was mine.
And every passing moment it quadrupled in my bosom.
And I was powerless that day.
Now were you there for that?
Were you aware or did you think to care?
And still. And still you doubt me.
That vocal tone.
The look of doubt.
And still.And still.
Were you there the day I smiled for you.
The day I saw you soaring like a bird.
No, like an Eagle proud and strong and pushing out your chest.
I shouted;"Yes! That's you! Yeah, that's the one I knew way back.
You go! I knew you had to grow! I knew you had to show your stuff.
And still they doubt my word.
Hold up! Next time I tell y'all something I don't want to hear NOTHING!

Don't even clear your throat Because when I'm proud of mine It ain't no joke." Yes, I said that.
Those were my words.
Did you hear that? Did you feel my heartbeat pounding?
Yes, it always pounds for you? And still.
And still the doubt.
The doubt.
And still.And still.
Remember this is me.
Not some other.
Excuse me,
just one second.
I'm not finished.
This is me.
You got that?
The one we're talking about here, is me.
You do not question my compassion, my intention, or my love.
I will not have it.
Remember that.
Remember me, and never ever doubt in me.
For, I am always there.
