Yes this is basically true. It will actually advise you on the site that are not safe and will eventually show you which site are not good at all. As for me, aside from using the site advisor, I also have a Mcafee anti-virus software on my laptop. I have tried some of anti virus programs before but it still I could find my computer being infected with viruses. Now that I have installed a Mcafee anti virus, I have not encountered any problem anymore. Its actually a little bit expensive but since I need it, I might as well invest on it. As you can see, I am using my laptop for training and most of my students usually ask for copies or files. So you can just imagine the threat of having infected with a virus even when I am not online since most of my students each have thier own usb. Well, Mcafee does a good job. It is proven and is very effective.
