Candidates seeking admission to AICTE approved MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA Courses are hereby informed that a Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted for the admission to these courses as per the schedule given below:
COMMON ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF MBA/ MMS/ PGDBM /PGDBA COURSE FOR THE YEAR 2008-2009 Candidates seeking admission to AICTE approved full time MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA course are hereby informed that Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted as per the schedule given below:
CET Date of MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008 17th February 2008 (Sunday)
The detailed notification regarding availability of information brochure, filling up on-line CET Application form, eligibility criteria etc. will be published in leading newspapers and will also be available on the official web site www.dte.org.in/mba in the month of January 2008. sd/-

Admission to first year of two year full time post graduate degree courses in Management namely Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Business Management (PGDBM)/Business Administration (PGDBA).
The institutes which qualify for the admission process as per these rules are:
• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
• Recognised by the Government of Maharashtra.
• Affiliated to any one of the ten Non Agricultural / Non Technological Universities in Maharashtra state.
Following are the types of Institutes in the Maharashtra state covered by these rules;
a) All Government Management Institutes
b) All University Departments of Management
c) All University Managed Management Institutes
d) All Unaided Management Institutes whose Association has given consent to participate in the CAP rounds conducted by the State Government.
The admission to the courses MBA/MMS is centralized and is covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.

University Departments: Amravati, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Solapur, Pune, Nanded and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

1. Sale of the Information Brochure at select post offices 18-01-08 to 31-01-08 2. Online submission of the “CET Application Form” through computer connected to Internet on the web site www.dte.org.in/mba for Maharashtra State /OMS/J&K candidates and receipt of the Hall Ticket for the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008. Note: Candidates who have appeared/appearing for the CAT/JMET/MAT(of Feb. 2008)/ATMA/XAT and aspiring to claim admission against the All India seats are also required to submit the online CET application form. 18-01-08 31-01-08 3. Date and timing of the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008 17-02-08 (2.00 p.m.) 4. Declaration of the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008 results on the website www.dte.org.in/mba 27-03-08 5. Registration for the Group Discussions(GD) and Personal Interviews(PI) and receipt of call letter 2-05-08 to 11-05-08 6. Conduct of GD and PI at select centers 12-05-08 to 31-05-08 7. Submission of the Work Experience Certificate (In Proforma-G) at SIMSREE, Mumbai only by Registered Post. 12-05-08 to 31-05-08 8. Document verification, updation and confirmation of Application Form for Admission at ARC for Maharashtra State/OMS/J&K candidates 12-05-08 to 31-05-08 9. Display of the provisional merit lists (Maharashtra State, All India and J&K candidates) on the web site www.dte.org.in/mba 10-06-08 10. Submission of grievance applications of Maharashtra, All India and J&K candidates, if any, at respective ARC 11-06-08 to 12-06-08 11. Display of the final merit lists (Maharashtra State, All India and J&K candidates) on web site www.dte.org.in/mba 13-06-08
