Bombay blood group: causing death

In this article, I have given a brief information about the blood group named as the Bombay blood group. Further, I also gave a information about the reason of the unique name of this blood group. I also wrote about the disadvantages of this blood group.

Unique blood group

New challanges keep coming for the medicos in India and abroad. Sometimes, the challenges are in the form of some newly recognised disease and sometimes in the form of some new complication. The most recent threat in the medical field of India is Bombay blood group. This blood group is the most rare group in India. Most dangerous thing is the lesser availability of the people belonging to this particular blood group because of which it becomes almost impossible to get a donor of this blood group if any person belonging to this blood group suffers by an accident and a large amount of blood loss occurs due to the accident.

Till now total 176 cases of this disease is reported. The reason behind the unique name of this blood group is the association of this disease with the city Bombay. The first case of this blood group was from Bombay so it got the name of Bombay blood group.

Threat from Bombay blood group

This blood group is posing a threat to the lives of the people who are facing an accident as the blood from the normal person can not be transferred to the person having such group. For saving the lives of the people who undergoes an accident and are having this blood group, the medicos have to work hard. The main reason of the fatality of this problem is the very less number of people having this particular blood group. Recent cases of this blood group is reported from many Indian cities. This blood group is really a curse for the society and we may call this blood group as the killer blood group. Due to such a less number of people having this blood group, this blood group is very dangerous blood group. To save the life of the people having this blood group, the doctors need to work hard. In the recent time, the issue of this blood group has got a major public attention due to the movie named 'Kahani'. In this movie which is starring the actress Vidya Balan as the lead actress and is a good movie. Due to the recent publicity of this blood group, there is a natural concern and fear among the people about this particular blood group but nothing can be done by fearing from this problem. People have to wait for the effective solution of this problem which can be eradicated only by the sincere effort of the doctors and the scientists. With the combined effort of the medicos, an effective solution of this particular problem should be searched quickly to save the lives of the effected individuals.
