In this resource we are going to have a detail look at how we can build some unique items just by utilizing some waste material which comes in handy in our house. This hobby of developing some worthy things and art piece can be useful in as well as learning the modeling.
1. Making a Mini truck from a Shoe Box:
(i) In order to build a mini truck we need some items, which are listed below.
: Shoe box, card board, a pair of scissors, fevicol, water colors and some colored paper or craft paper.
(ii) Draw a blue print of a truck design in which we have to make a model from paper where we will make windows, frames, doors etc of a truck.
(iii)Make a rotational wheel just to test, and then make three more from a black paper, so that they can be fitted at the base of the truck.
(iv) Now assemble the doors, window, screen, and wheel and join them properly in a sequence by using fevicol.
(v) You can also decorate all wheels, frames, terrace of a truck by using a handful of water colors which will add up in the model.
2. Making an Aquarium from a Shoe box:
We all must have seen a beautiful aquarium at shops or even at our relative's home etc but that takes a lot of dedication to clean the wanted, to feed the fishes and all. So here we are going to make a virtual one which may serve a real purpose.
- Shoe box, card board, thread, a pair of scissors, fevicol, water colors and some colored paper or craft paper.
(i) Cut the side of a shoe box and make it appear as a open box, now color it from inside so that inner look may appear blue.
(ii) Inside should have 3-D look so cut a paper and draw some herbs on it as well as some rocks so that they may look appealing.
(iii) Draw some beautiful fishes and paste them, and in the main area.
(iv) Make a hole in the box, and hang two fishes so that they may appear swimming freely.
