The flow of scheme is described here:

  • The corporates, who are willing to take part into this Special Industry Initiatives (SII) for Jammu & Kashmir, will submit their proposal/application of interest to NSDC.

  • Employment proposals submitted by the corporate organizations will be evaluated and approved/disapproved by NSDC for the feasibility and technical diligence of the project.

  • Approved partner corporates will screen and shortlist potential candidates from the J&K state.

  • Selected candidates will attend skill training at company training centers. The candidate will be trained according to Skill gap assessment of candidate by the corporate organization. During this training tenure travelling expanses, boarding-lodging charges and a stipend will be provided to the candidate.

  • On the completion of skill training candidate will be again interviewed for job suitability. Successful candidates will be placed with corporates.

  • In case where candidate is not placed with the same corporate after the skill training , authorized placement agencies will provide another suitable options for job opportunities.

  • Difference between "Udaan" and any other job portal :

Any job portal like naukri.com, timesjobs.com, etc. will provide a database of candidates to employer company and information of latest jobs to the job seeker. In addition to these basic facilities, "Udaan" will also aim for grooming the candidates with appropriate skill set as required by the employer. Udaan project is formulated as a placement linked, market driven skill training program, especially aimed for growth of youth residing in Jammu-Kashmir state.
