This article discuses about the tips and ways which can be used to develop a strong team at our workplace. How to manage my team? Well there are so many companies in the world but only those remains at the top, who have the best in class work teams. So let’s see how we can achieve such a strong team.
Recently in the market we saw that lot of companies was losing the targets and their profits does not surged as expected. While this was the trend for short duration but lot companies got bankrupt. Reasons for such type of catastrophe for a company are many. But mainly the loop holes in the managerial level results in so much of blunder. But if we are strong manger with strong team of members then nothing is limited. For instance the

and his company is best in the world and the rest they say is the history. Although I gave the name at much higher level but, the whole level of pyramids works like this. In this article I have included certain points and certain measures which we can take in order to have the best team. Best teams are needed at any level and hence we need this type skill at any level. So what it takes to have the best team in the world and the skill of getting the best of the people. So let's start the article.
Choosing the right people in the team
Here right does not mean that you are choosing the right or wrong here. The only things which it means is choosing of the people who you think are good in their work and approach. Essentially they need not to have managerial skills, the only thing you need that they should be able to work in the organization. Some people have the habit of working lonely on a project and hence they never find a place in a team. So you can keep these type of people little away but do not loss them. First of all you have to succinctly address the team and you try to have the pragmatic image of yours. Going little away from the topic may cause the whole concept going haywire. Try to make them aware of the condition of the company and what the company wants. This is necessary because you give them a rough idea as to how they have to perform. Many organizations in country do the monthly or you can say weekly conferences in order to have check over the performance. Doing this will increase their confidence and hence the performance of the whole team will increase.
Openness about the idea is always a must thing. Being human being, power is the most important thing which a person always strives for. So when you are taking them on the boards give them certain powers so that they can spread the ideas of yours in the crowd and also do little modification in staff if needed. But those powers have to be regulated by you. Generally there is not a scene that they will misuse the power but you never know what can happen. If you think that they need any special training then get then trained and make them aware about the latest knowledge of the outside market.
Making a powerful team of your
What I said in the previous topic was the initial stage but to keep that working we need a strong team. Strong team means that they are capable of cracking any problem and understanding you and you're all the team members well. You cannot every time direct them to do this or that. Any kind of spoon feeding is always undesirable. You just need to give the expectations of your and rest leave on the shoulder of them. Otherwise, you will end in commanding only and nothing like performance. This on other hand will make the people in the team to work independently with their thoughts and hence you work is reduced. Any kind of surreptitious movements should be avoided in team. The trust and unity is the key to the strong team. Any dispute related to work or anything should be solved at once. Rift in between the team is deplorable and need to be handled with care.
Discuss all the matter in detail and make the policy of 'promotion on performance'. This will guarantee the overall credits to all the people and no chances of partiality. IF any person wishes to put forward something new than acknowledge the idea of that person. Your team is the repository of your knowledge and work. Taking ideas from all the members and compiling them is your work and best you compile them, best performance and results you get. Any idea should not go abegging during the whole process. So in whole company we need these types of strong teams ranging from the board of directors to the project leader level.
A good communication is needed
My personal mantra in life is always that if you communicate well then you whole bunch of problems solve automatically. We can say that good communication is the key to limit your problem. For instance, if you are manager of your organization and you don't have the communication with fellow junior people. Now what happens is that you are not able to give them the idea of what company wants and also they are able to give you what they want or problem they are facing. Similarly if you are building a team and you don't have communication well enough then you whole efforts flow in the water. Everybody in this world is not sharp and that what creates the hierarchy. So being senior does not mean that you expect your fellow worker to do come to you and talk about everything. There are so many people in the office who feels shy and reluctance to go to the senior.
Hounding behavior of fellow worker or senior denotes the stage of lack of communications. I major fall of the companies this was the major reason behind the fall. A person starts keeping them busy and they forget the
communication between the various levels of the organizations
. They are lot of methods for communication in an organization. First is that the junior most reports the senior most. Secondly, there can be print communications like telephone or email. Third one is the front to front communication. In my opinion the third one is the best one but due to lack of time this can be very difficult to do. So we have to have a system which includes mixture of these three. Front to communication can be done occasionally like when a chairman of a company addresses his new employees. So this is very necessary in order to give the fresher an insight of the company. Also when a chairman of a company speaks there is something special about it.
Helping and listening-a key to success
In this last topic of my article I want to discuss very important thing. When your reach the head position it is must fact that you should know more than your fellow teammates. The reason for this is that if any problem occurs you should be able to solve. I am not saying that you will able to solve the entire problem but yes you should be able to solve most of the problem. So have this in mind when you are leading a team of members. For this you need to do constant research on problems face or you have keep update yourself above then others. This is very useful because you will be getting promotions on the basis of the basis of the results. You should mature both in terms of behavior and knowledge as you grow. Otherwise you will end up in being a joke in your workplace. Helping your team mates is a major task to be accomplished. Faster the problem is solved, faster is the completions of the job assigned. You can keep in touch with your friends in other companies, so that you can get the idea of problems faced a solution of these types.
Listening is major thing which we need to do. I want to quote a very famous saying which 'listen everyone but do what is right for you'. Listening to suggestions of the team mates and having a thought over them is a major task and hence you have to develop this habit. Debating and analyzing the conversations only leads to the failure of the conversations and building up of rift among the members. So try to listen everything what the other say and note them down on a piece of paper and then in free time analyze these things. Take suggestion from the team mates or any junior staff members who can provide you the relevant information. A good listener always helps you to be the respected guy and half of the problem is solved while properly listening to the problem. Proper listening helps in deciding the root causes of the problem and possible solution to that problem. But keeping yourself quite for the whole conversation will lead to negative effects in mind of the speaker. He or she will think that you are thinking about the other thing. So he or she will not explain the problem or suggestions problem.
Conclusion
I hope that these tips will come handy for all the people who head group of people under them. Having a good team with good leader, leads to better results and plunge in the profits of the company. Currently this is an important aspect of any company functionality. So better a team, better a company. So try to implement these things if you are given a group of people to head them.
