Defects of Samsung Galaxy S3 and the reason Why should you not buy it.

After the likes of Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S II we have S III on our table. After reviewing different aspects of the mighty Samsung Galaxy S3 we say we are quite disappointed with some of its features. Here are the reasons why should you not buy Samsung Galaxy S3:

Why should you not buy Samsung Galaxy S3?

The exterior design of Samsung Galaxy S3 in not up to the mark.
As for the build quality the Samsung Galaxy S3 is not up to the mark due to the design of its body which is completely made by plastic. It is an easy to break device not recommended for hard users.

We were expecting a premium quality of plastic and a little touch of aluminum to give it a more solid feel. But the Samsung galaxy S3 didn't do well in the exterior design department. We instead thought that the successor to the mighty Samsung Galaxy S II would be made up of high-quality materials.

As compared to the other top graded smartphones which have been newly introduces such as: HTC One X and One S, iPhone 4S and the Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 900, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has failed to succeed.

Hardware configuration not too good (especially the camera)

The standard 3 hardware buttons: home, menu and back are there on the Samsung Galaxy S3 but we sure miss the 4th button which is used for searching. You can simply go through the menu to find the search option but the button comes handier. It also lacks some features like HDMI output port and LED flash. The other great smartphones of the Galaxy S3 level have the LED flash but the absence of it on the Galaxy S3 is sure a thing for great disappointment. Even the camera resolution is not up to the mark!

Clunky user interface and inside features

The outside exterior isn't the only bad thing in Samsung Galaxy S3, we have some complaints regarding the user interface and its inside features too. The TouchWiz UI topping no doubt contains a lot of new features but this is not up to the quality standards of other smartphones like iPhone 4S. Well it directly points towards the fact that Samsung isn't giving their level best and taking too much time and resources to replicate the tech giant Apple.

We are not saying that Samsung is breaking any patents or copyright laws but it feels like Samsung is trying to gratifying to the related mass as of Apple's, to attract potential iPhone users.

Let's take it as an example: Samsung's 'S-Voice' feature is same like Apple's Siri voice. Though it is a nice feature but we would rather say it is a clear copy of Apple, and that's where we were actually disappointed.

However, when Siri was launched, it was admired so much but now there is not quite such a big response from users. The same might go for S-Voice!
The patent fight between Samsung and Apple was way too long and that is resulting in the present. With ads coming from Samsung trying to create a critical thought against apple products seems more like the war heat is getting hotter. Though Samsung has the potential which was demonstrated when the Galaxy Note was launched. It created a purely positive impact on users due to its configuration and performance. Samsung really is good at working on innovative ideas but don't know why the Galaxy S3 was a disappointment.

Android OS Ice cream sandwich has limitations on apps

With Android OS Ice Cream Sandwich running on the Samsung Galaxy S3, we have a bit of limitations of apps as compared to the Apple app market. The app market of apple has a bundle of apps great for both the beginners and advanced users but the latest versions of android fails in the app department.

Android OS Vs IPhone OS in terms of user-friendly interface (iOS wins)

Android is more like a less user-friendly operating software which has been used in the Samsung Galaxy S3 and though it is the latest version; the limitations on apps is quite heavy. The user interface is also not up to the mark between the comparison of iOS and Android. The only advantage of Android is the varieties of apps are available for free but what if you don't have a wide selection to choose from? So apple products are the winner here, bad luck Samsung Galaxy S3.
Samsung has though showed some dedication for their Galaxy S3 but it still lacks to some extent. Even its ROM is not available easily. Making it a useless device to have for advanced users!

Conclusion: Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy S3 or not?

The products manufactured by Samsung are however great in terms of quality let's take Galaxy S2 and Note in account but still its flagship device has failed to deliver. The Galaxy S3 feels more like a compromised smartphone missing some features that are present in other latest smartphones. It was a big hope for Samsung to compete against Apple but it however failed.

In conclusion, we have come to a point that you shouldn't consider buying Samsung Galaxy S3 if you think the above missing features and drawbacks are countable for you. We would recommend the HTC One X and HTC One S in its place because it is a better option as compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3.
