Courses for admission in Doctor of Medicine courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Tamil Nadu:

The following four courses are available for admission. The names of courses for admission are as below –
• Doctor of Medicine DM Medical Oncology
• Doctor of Medicine DM Neurology
• Master of Chirurgical M.Ch.

Eligibility Criteria :

The Eligibility criteria given below is applicable to courses - Doctor of Medicine DM Medical Oncology , Doctor of Medicine DM Neurology and Master of Chirurgical M.Ch.

Below criteria need to be satisfied by individual candidate to get admission in respective course –
a) Doctor of Medicine DM Medical Oncology
1. Candidate with age 35 years as on 31st December 2011 are eligible to apply. Final rightw will be with Management to grant relaxation in age limit in cases where the candidate possesses qualification higher than the minimum eligibility requirements
2. A student who passed MD / MS degree in not more than two attempts from a recognized Medical College included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical council Act, 1956

Not Eligibile:
1. If candidate obtained their MBBS / MD, MS degree from those Medical Colleges which are not recognized by the Medical Council of India.
2. Candidate will not be eligible if he/she have failed more than once in case of MD, MS or more than three subjects in case of MBBS course.

How to apply for admission in Doctor of Medicine courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Tamil Nadu:

Following are the steps for getting admission for Doctor of Medicine. and other courses -
1. The admission will be based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and subsequent council.
The details of exam is as below –
a) Course = DM/MCh
b) Date of Examination = 01st July 2012
c) Time of Examination = 9.30 AM to 12.30 pm

2. Prospectus and application forms will be available from the branches of Dhanalaxmi Bank and Federal Bank.
3. Duly filled form with DD need to be sent to address –
