How to submit Resources with Images

This article is intended to help members who need the quickest explanation to incorporate images in their resources. As, members have asked to demonstrate this, I have tried explaining it in the most relevant and succinct way I can.

Resources with images are more comprehensive and easy to understand. Especially if you are demonstrating steps eg. for setting up some options under windows or describing how something operates or works.

Many new joiners might seek the steps to post a resource with images.

Here is how to do it:

After entering your contents:

1) Under Publish section:
Select 'Not ready to publish yet'.
2) Check 'I want to add some attachments to this resource'.
3) Save Article.

4) Select Add New Attachment.

5) Here, choose your file and enter Title and Description.

6) Then scroll down and select the following settings for image:
6.1) Select 'Do NOT show this attachment as a link below the resource. I will use a hyperlink to embed this file inside my resource.'
6.2) Select the size of image file as suitable. Usually 300 px would suffice but do choose a smaller size in case of small image as this would save space in database.
7) Click 'Submit Attachment'.

8) Now, you'd be presented with tags for your attachment. Choose your Image Link.

Just copy this link.
9) Click the 'edit' icon for your post.

10) Paste it where you require the image to be displayed in your post.

11) Then, select 'Article Is Ready To Publish' and 'Save Article' finally.

That's it.
