Institutions that have established years back serves with good facilities, in compare with the Colleges that have been established 2 or 3 years back. Experience faculty and professors gives priority to conduct lectures in old colleges and the supporting systems like labs and library will be effective in old colleges in compare with newly established ones. And most important thing is that a college should have two final passed out batches for the conduction of campus placements by top MNCs.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) agencies are deciding the quality measures in the field of education. Colleges should possess facilities according with the measures of the above mentioned agencies in order to get accreditation status.

The student has to collect the information of the percentage of results of the college in past, list of university gold medalists of the college, the parentage of campus placements and industry linkage projects and have to select a college whose performance is good or excellent.

Co - curriculum – extra curricular activities

Colleges should give an equal priority for the complete development of the student by conducting co-curriculum activities like quiz, essay writing, paper presentation and also extra curriculum activities like games, cultural programs and NSS programs. These activities helps students to improve their will – power and presentation skills, organized skills, communication skills and socialization skills which are most essential for present job market.
