This resource contains a sample e-mail format written by the ex-student of the school Kendriya Vidyalaya Berhampore to the principal to put her eyes on the dullness and poor conditions of the school is increasing day by day.

Overview

Email simply stands for Electronic mail. Now a day’s email is the fastest mean to send any written text in anywhere in the globe, Email is send officially as well as unofficially too in almost every sector. The main reason behind email’s popularity is it’s easy, reliable and fast. Email was first introduced by Ray Tomlinson and his team in late 1971 before the invention of Internet. At that time ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) is known among people.

The invention of email has played an important role to speed up our modern world. Using letters and post cards are not very much cooperative because of their slow speed. Sending email are very much easy even more easy then writing letters and anyone who can operate computer can able to send email without any training.

Subject: Insanitary and poor condition of the school.
Dear Madam,

I wish to invite your kind attention towards the dullness and poor conditions of the school. As an ex-student of the school I treat it my moral duty to bring this face to your kind notice.

Yesterday I happened to visit the school to meet the teacher of my sister who is the student of this school. I was shocked to see the condition of the building. At many places the plaster has fallen down. The backyard of the school is overgrown with bushes and wild plants. This may be breeding ground of various insects, snakes, lizard etc. The urinals are stinking. The steel pipes are supplying water to the urinals and latrines are corroded and broken. There is no water supply to these. Various dirty and foul words and slogans are written on the walls of these toilet and urinals. The bushes and trees are defoliate but the leaves are never swept. The same condition is of the playground and the lawns. There is no cleanliness all around. Thus the school present a very sad and deplorable look to the visitors and the common folks.

I still can't believe that being a central government school it make such type of image, in these circumstances, I request you to take immediate steps for the cleanliness drive of the school and restoration of its old shape that once was its pride.
