How to deal with the suicidal tendency?

No thumbs down (non achievement) is so big that life might be said a good bye. In fact escaping after defeat is not life but standing up with bold courage is thy name of life. Nothing is more precious than life. Committing suicide is the most heinous crime against nature. Nothing is permanent in this wicked world- not even your problems. This article deals with the growing tendency of suicides with some suggestions to ward it off.
The only solution to all the problems for a person of a weak will power seems to be one and only which is to commit suicide, to give off life. The reasons are trifling such as:
When the academic result is bad or good marks couldn’t be obtained or admission couldn’t be taken in some good college.
Getting nervous from ragging.
Tormented with the financial crunch.
The husband didn’t listen.
Diseases are eating at the vitals.
Taking the
decision of committing suicide
might appear to the general people an act of foolishness or wretchedness but in fact, this is a serious psychological disorder the treatment and prevention of which should be as much scientific as any other serious disease.
It transpires after examining in the majority of the cases coming into the counselling centre that compared to the
persons with suicidal tendencies are less prone
to commit suicide than the persons who don’t have this tendency because the persons with the suicidal tendencies blatantly reveal his symptoms and changes. Therefore, this is the responsibility of the families to observe the emotional and mental goings on of each and every members of the family and take immediate elective helps.
Suicide is not the option- “we win some, we lose some”
Just come of your dreamy world and stand in the world of reality and practicality to mark this that in everybody’s fisticuffs is those ‘materials’ which they had never wanted nor wished for ever in their lives. A successful and joyful person begin wanting whatever has been gotten thereby remaining free from depression which pushes people to tend towards taking up the fatal step of suicide. This is the philosophy of life that we can’t always get what we crave for. Sometime we might get what we wish while sometimes not whether this is success or love. This is the responsibility to ourselves to evaluate our capacities from time to time and keep on shifting up our goals thereby not letting grow the situation of mental pressure.
No right to commit suicide
“This mountain of needs wouldn’t let me tire of; my children won’t let me grow older”. Be that any age or post, this is true that we are blank cheque for our family, for our friends from whom everyone extracts out their needs getting helps according to their requirements. For someone, we are financial option while for others we are emotional supports.
Whether you study or do a job, a housewife or a working person, you are being chased by several pairs of eyes with expectations with moot and poignant looks that you would do something for them. But what is this? You became so much preoccupied with your problems that you didn’t feel you are needed by others? Do never let any situation burgeon to such proportions that brings in chasms in your family.
Good time, bad time- changing time
If you are defeated, well you shall triumph too. Ask sometimes to the victors how long a distance had he to traverse to win, how many times had he to face stumbling blocks on his way to emerge up triumphant. Any setback or defeat in attempts could no doubt subdue your courage foe a while but real test lies in standing up and face up to the challenges with renewed energy. All the heights achieved by the great men were not attained in a sudden flight but they, while their companions slept were toiling upward in the night.
If the positive aspects of defeat are delved into, then the first step taken in the direction leads towards the pathways of victory. Walk continually whether you get defeat or depressed or sad- our every step is dragging us towards success. The family members should also bear this in their mind not to
build pressure to win
but treat the defeat as a healthy appreciation.
Life is to live- not to cut it by suicide
The sentences below are the examples of the pessimistic mental state:
Life is cutting.., thus far has cut down, the rest will cut off too like this…
No desire to live further now.
What is the benefit of living more now…
Above sentences containing all the tinges of pessimism unto them are muttered by everyone sometimes during the course of saddened moments their lives. We spend our entire life in same routine. For the psychological balance, it’s quite essential to bring in changes of positive and creative type.
For the
person of suicidal bent
, it is necessary for the family members, friends and other near ones to bring in such changes into his life that his enthusiasm of living remains well maintained in him.
