Sample e-mail format of a resignation letter

Resignation letter is written when you are going to resign from a job. In this article a sample of an e-mail format of a resignation letter is given. A formal resignation letter is to be given to the head of the company when one is going to resign from a company and the reason should be given properly.



To maintain positive relationship with the employer which the employee is going to leave, the resignation letter helps in this matter. The resignation letter should be brief and simple. The employer should not be criticized by you in the resignation letter. Before giving the formal resignation letter, it is good to say him personally that you are going to resign from the job due to some reason. One should be graceful while writing the resignation letter though he/she is not satisfied with the job or hate his employer.

When someone is going to resign from a job, he/she should give a formal resignation letter to the head of the company.

At the top of the letter, one should first write the address of his own. After that the date at which the letter is written should be mentioned and after that the address of the head of the comapny should be written. At the main portion of the letter the sender should give the reason of his resignation and at last one should not forget to pay thanks to the head of the company or institute for giving him an opportunity to work there.
