In India, the drainage system is very poor due to its construction. Many a times we come across drainage block and break, choking of waters and overflow of drainage waters . Any immediate reporting to the concerned authorities is necessary to rectify the defects. The author has a sample e-mail format for reporting such drainage blocks and breaks.

Our drainage system in India is not upto mark. Quite often we find drainage waters flowing through the roads and become a health hazard to the residents and passersby in that area. Sir,
On behalf of the residents of Raja colony , I bring to your kind notice about the block in the drainage system in our area. The huge drainage system located in our area that was constructed in the year 2005 is a boon to the residents of our colony. However it has become a nightmare for the residents of our colony.

Since 18th June 2012, the drainage system got blocked and the water is over flowing on the streets. The street is flooded with dirty water and filled with foul smell. It is in a unhygienic state of living and a great nuisance to the residents . The cattles in our colony are taking rest in the drainage waters to get cool themselves. The vehicles plying on the streets splashes water on the walls of the residents. The drainage water gets polluted and contaminates the drinking water. The difficulties faced by the residents are much more to explain.

I kindly request the concerned authorities to look in to this serious matter and get the drainage system cleared at the earliest for the betterment of the residents living in our colony.
