Jannat-2 Story

This is a story about Sonu Dilli(Emraan Hashemi) who sales illegal guns to criminal gangs or common people who are needs of gun. His business going on very well till one day ACP Pratap Raghuvanshi(Randeep Hooda) find the details about him and catch him and threatened him to become a police informer or else he will kill him. Unable to came out of threats from ACP Pratap Sonu Dilli starts working with him as an informer. Due to this Arms dealing case he has to go in Jail for some days. Later when he comes out from Jail, ACP again finds him and pressurize him to continue as informer. Sonu Dilli as he didn't have a choice so he continues being an informer. In the meanwhile he met a doctor Jhanvi Tomar (Esha Gupta) and starts to love her, the doctor also falls in love with Sonu Dilli. Sonu now decides to quit this job and live a normal life. ACP promises him if he will help him in finding the boss of this Arms Dealing then he will help him in living a normal life away from crimes with Doctor. Sonu now joins a bigger gang Mangal Singh Tomar(Manish Chaudhary) who is leader of this whole racket. Meanwhile he came to know that Mangal Singh Tomar is the father of his lady love. This makes Sonu confused as he don't want to bring problem to his love and his father in law but also didn't able to avoid ACP Pratap. This makes situation quite difficult for Sonu Dilli and at last with lots of emotion and drama, Sonu Dilli manage to trap Mangal Singh Tomar but in the process himself got killed too. ACP convinces the doctor that Sonu Dilli was a fraud thus helping her to forget her.

Jannat-2 Acting and Direction

Emraan Hashemi really improved himself as an actor. He looks perfect in this author backed role and done justice to his role. Randeep Hooda is looks like find a niche for him in action movies. He looks really tough as it needed to be a for a tough cop role. This will be remember as among the finest works of Randeep Hooda. Esha Gupta has not much to do in the movie but anyhow didn't able to do justice to her role and never able to convince audience that she is a doctor. Manish Choudhary as a villain looks all right for the role but should be done more justice to it. He never looks scary or create hatred necessary for the role. Rest actors also done justice to their role like Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub as a friend of Emraan Hashemi. Direction of Kunal Deshmukh is really great. He manages to take a grip on the story and screenplay of the movie and audience was kept interested in the movie till end. The story was little predictable in the end but director cleverly changes the climax killing the hero and making the heroine having all the bad clues about our hero.

Jannat-2 Music

The Music of Pritam in this movie is quite popular. There are total 9 songs in the movie with vocals given by singers like Shafqat Amanat Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, KK, Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali etc. Tu Hi Mera and Rab ka Shukrana and Tujhe Sochta Hoon is quite popular. Its a really nice album living up to the expectation of a Bhatt Movie.Musically I would give it a 4.5 out 5.

Jannat-2 Verdict

Its a great movie to watch for real life story light action, light comedy with combination of good music. I will give it 4 out of 5.
