Most of the people often complain about their memory. Sometimes students say that they are studying properly but not able to remember in exams. This article gives guidance in this regard . So I am explaining some of the tips which will boost your brain power and will improve your memory.
Memory loss is a common problem which we hear from most of the people. Sometimes we keep some things and forget it often where we have kept. Following are some of the tips which will benefit you in this regard. By applying following tips and tricks there can be chances of improvement.
Tips and Tricks
There are various games which are available on the other site which helps to improve concentration and which can be played for free without any costs. For example puzzles, missing letters of a world, objectives types questions which helps to improve concentration and in turn boosts mind power. They can be played freely from many sites on the internet and can be of great help and a good time pass.
Organizing things properly:
Proper organization of things is of utmost importance<. This helps in accessing the things properly. When you organize thing properly , it makes understanding easier. For examples when students takes out notes, they should organize it properly that will make them easier to learn step by step and will be able to remember the things properly while revising it for the next time.
Recollecting while Sleeping:
Before Sleep, one should close the eyes and recollect the things which a person wants to remember. Suppose if the students wants to store the studies in memory, then he/she should close his/her eyes before sleep and revise whatever studies for the whole day in mind. They should try to recollects the things which will help them to restore it in their mind and hence this technique too will help in improving memory.
A person should do regular exercise, An exercise improves
and increases and supplies proper oxygen to the brain. This is because regular exercise reduces the chances of disorders which leads to memory loss. A person should try out other concentration exercises also that improves concentration like Yoga, Meditation. Also, Visualizing is one of the exercise to improve memory. You just need to visualize the picture of anything that you want to remember and focus on it. This is one of the best exercise to improve memory. Also one can do aerobic exercise for improving blood circulation.
Vitamins and Supplements:
Some of the popular nutrients which are said to contribute in increasing memory and brainpower are Omega 3 Fatty acid( which can be obtained from fish and nuts mostly) ,
ginseng and vitamin E.
There are various medicines available in the market containing these kind of vitamins and supplements which rules out the problem of poor memory and concentration.
Sleep of 6-8 hours is a must for concentration and memory. when we sleep, day to day things gets stored in the memory properly. Lack of sleep leads to lack of concentration. When concentration is affected it leads to not storing things in the brain properly which results in affecting memory too. Brain should remain
active ans alert
and for this reason sound sleep is a must.
Understand Concepts, Avoid Cramming
For the purpose of building proper memory understanding concepts is very essential. One Should
understand the concepts in depth
. Once the concepts are properly understood it is easier to remember the things. Many students just go on cramming the things and fail to remember it when the time arises.
Write it Down
Writing down the things is necessary as a value addition to memory. When we read the things , we should make our own notes. Things written in one's own words lasts on paper and one understand better if one write down the things as per his understanding in his
. So make a list of the things you want to remember and write down a description against each. By doing this , things will be stored in your brain.
