In this article I will explain about the Scholarship that is provided by National thermal power corporation (NTPC). Scholarship is a financial motivation to stand for better career. NTPC scholarship will helps you to achieve your career target without any hurdle of finance.

Introduction to NTPC scholarship

There is no obstacle for those who knows the better way to achieve their goal. NTPC Scholarship is also a better way to reach or found your bright career without having any financial problem. NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation is one of the most major enterprises of India. NTPC provide scholarship to those students who belong to schedule cast, schedule tribe and physically challenged students. Total 35 candidates are eligible and distribution are as 20 seats for scheduled cast, 10 seats for scheduled tribe and remaining 5 seats for physically challenged students. Students that are mentioned above category are also eligible if they are pursuing the diploma course in engineering. But for this scholarship it includes some eligibility that consist the main's subject and a particular state. Student should not receive any scholarship from any other institute.

What is eligibility and Duration of scholarship?

If you want to apply for the NTPC scholarship then you must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below-
1. Student who is applying should have diploma in engineering.
2. Student should pass the examination of 1st year on regular basis which include the subjects are electronics, electrical with civil or mechanical.
3. Any student who belongs to schedule tribe and schedule tribe belongs to Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Delhi and Haryana (Chandigarh) are eligible for NTPC scholarship.
4. Candidate should have good academic background.
Period of scholarship is start from 2nd year till the finishing point of the course. It is up to the management to take further decision regarding the scholarship. The scholarship is paid each month for the duration of two years. Instead of NTPC scholarship you can apply for post metric national scholarship. Read the above mentioned points carefully before applying.

What are the scopes and procedure to apply?

After fulfilling the eligibility criteria you need to know the procedure that how to apply for the scholarship and what are the scope of this scholarship. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 1000 that is granted to the candidate and remained valid until he perform well and keep discipline throughout the course of the study. Student who encompass the scholarship from NTPC are eligible for selection examination for the post of diploma trainees. If student is selected for the training then he will eligible for the stipend given by the NTPC according to their rules and regulations. Candidate if successfully finished the training then he will be joining the company for three years.
Candidates who want to apply for the NTPC scholarship must fill the application which includes all details about candidate along with signature. Application should be in typed form. Application form also includes recent photographs of candidate attached with application form. Application form is marked as NTPC scholarship and must be sent to the Liaison office for Scheduled cast and scheduled tribe NTPC limited.
