The three confidential letters of recommendation should highlight your overall personality, leadership skills and business achievements. This will give an extra edge to you while your application is reviewed by the panel.
The recommendation forms are provided in the online IMD MBA application form.
From the online application, you can email one recommendation form to each of your preferred recommender who then completes his/her form and sends it to IMD. It is mandatory to provide a letter of recommendation from your senior executive (who knows you well professionally and is aware of your professional goals) in case you are company-sponsored.
Always choose recommenders as the people who know you well, those who represent diverse facets of your professional life spanning various companies and years (preferably direct managers) and those who have shared an experience with you either in your professional career or an extracurricular activity (mentors, charity event coordinators, colleagues, etc).

Candidates would be interviewed in Singapore, if they have applied for the February 1st or April 1st deadline. In case the candidates have applied by the August 1st deadline, then they would be interviewed in Sao Paulo.
Off-campus interview dates (2012)
Singapore: 25 May

Nationals of all non-European Community countries will need a 'Visa of Entry for Studies' in order to enter Switzerland. Each candidate is responsible for getting the visa, however IMD will provide all necessary paperwork required by the candidate's country of origin and will liaise with government officials as required.
Depending on the nationality and/or location, candidates may require longer than the average 6-8 weeks of visa processing. It is always better to check with the embassy so that candidates can apply by the earliest application submission deadline and can attend the off-campus interviews on the planned dates.
