Job Title: DECK TRAINEE CADET OFFICERS
Description: Applications are invited from candidates for induction of 25 DECK TRAINEE CADET OFFICERS under “All India Dredging Cadre Scheme”(AIDC). The candidates should be unmarried male Engineering graduates from any recognized university, should have flair to work in the sea and fulfill the following other
QUALIFICATIONS :
For Deck Cadet : B.E./B.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, Civil & Instrumentation Engineering)
Candidates passed with 60 % marks in group only ( Gen & OBC) and 50% in group only ( SC/ST) will only be considered for All India written examination. Candidates who appeared for Final Year Examinations and expecting result, with prescribed percentage of marks, may also apply. However, they should produce proof of above percentage on or before interview. However, meeting the minimum criteria of marks will not entitle the candidates to be called for written test. The corporation reserves the right to increase the % of marks in case of receipt of more number of applications.
Reservation criteria :
DECK SC(03) ST(02) OBC(07) GEN(13) TOTAL(25)
Note: Out of the General slots, 2 slots are earmarked for the Children of serving employees of DCI. Incase there are no suitable candidates, this quota will be operated for General candidates.
Management reserves the right to increase/decrease/abolish the number of slots at the discretion, depending on various administrative contingencies.
AGE LIMIT:
Not exceeding 24 years as on 31-03-2008 for General candidates. Age is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
