Barfi movie Review.

Now a day's very few family movies released every year, which we can see with our family. But, On 14th September 2012, Barfi released all over India. After Rockstar, it took almost one year to get a chance to watch Ranbir Kapoor again in theatres. Ranbir Kapoor is playing a lead role in this movie, Barfi and once again proved that he is the future of Indian cinema after three Khans. He is the real rockstar and he can consistently perform well and entertain everyone. Before this movie, Priayanka chopra desperately needed a hit and I think her search has been completed. This is Ileana D'Cruz's debut movie in Bollywood.

Storyline of Barfi
Barfi (Ranbir kapoor), living in Darjeeling with his father. From childhood he was deaf and dumb, but he live his life fully. He was a real charmer , happy go lucky guy and prankster too. Shruti (Ileana D'Cruz) came to Darjeeling and accidently met Barfi. She was impressed by Barfi's charm. Finally they both fell in love. But, things couldn't work out just because of Brafi's incompleteness as he was deaf and dumb. Then, Jhilmil (Priyanka chopra), who is mentally challenged and innocent girl. Jhilmil comes in Barfi's life,which moved Barfi's life upside down. It is a very different love triangle, and new definition of Love.
Direction and Acting
UTV Motion Pictures and director Anurag Basu brought us a very beautiful movie. Direction of Anurag Basu was great. Very beautiful and catchy locations of Darjeeling. The story moves between 1972,1978 and 2012. So, according to the era, the screenplay was shot. Even flashback in flashback is a very good attempt by Anurag and I know people won't get confused just because of this.
Ranbir Kapoor as in Barfi gave his one of the best performance up till now. The way he performed, dumb and deaf character, is simply awesome. His innocence and happy go lucky nature will definitely win everyone's heart. He is Indian Mr. Bean, He is Indian Charlie Chaplin, He is BARFI.
Priyanka Chopra is back now. Once again she shown that ,she is still one of the top actress in Bollywood and not just by her beauty but by her acting too. She played mentally challenged girl and she was simply awesome.
Ileana D'Cruz, new face in bollywood. She was very simple and sober thorugh out the movie. She was looking stunning in saree and acted up to the mark. She gave full justice to her role. Even you won't feel like that this is her first movie in bollywood.
Music
There are 5 songs composed by pritam. Title track, aashiyaan and main kya karoon, are already hit and people loved it very much. Saawali si raat and Kyon are two more songs which you will love it. Every song is according to the situation. Frankly speaking songs are very soulful; they are not enforced in the movie. Good job by Pritam.
My verdict for Barfi
I will give it 4.5 out of 5. It's a must watch movie for everyone. I am sure you won't get disappointed. Don't miss this chance to watch this movie in theaters. You will definitely regret if u miss it. A complete FAMILY entertainer, which you can enjoy with your family. You will definitely get inspired by this movie.
