The default option to Insert Images in IndiaStudyChannel:

The feature of Insert images is already designed by the web admin and what it does is that it adds the images at the end of our resource or article. So it is not placing the images at the positions where you exactly want your images to be. But the best thing is that you don’t have to worry about the exact position and all the images will be at the end of the article or resource. Hence, many of the members who don’t know how to place the images at a specific position in the article can simply use a line like: “Please check the images at the end of this article”. Here is the image which will be attached at the end of this resource:

In this way using the default method of Insert Images on IndiaStudyChannel can give you a benefit of adding all the images at the end of the article or resource. Just check at the end of this article, I have added it using the default “Insert Images” button.

Placing images while writing article or resource:

Now if you are conscious about your images in the article or resource and you want them to add to a specific location in a particular paragraph of article then you must read the following. For this you just need to copy paste the code which will be generated after you attach the images to your resource or article.

The stepwise method to place images to a specific location in your article or resource is as follows:

Step 1. As usually we will have to select Filter Categories and Choose a Category section and then next we will be choosing the Article Title, Article Summary and the Article Body.

Step 2. If you want to add the images at the end of the article then just use the “Insert Images” button and you will be adding all your images at the end of the Article.

Step 3. If you want your image to be at a particular position then just skip the step 2 above and do as shown in the image below:

It means you have to select the “Not Ready to Publish yet” option and also select the “I want to add some attachments to this resource”. Then only you can select the “Save Article” button and proceed further.

Step 4. Now you will be taken to your article link which will be looking similar to this page. Here you can manage the Attachments/Images in your article.

All you have to do is locate your Attachment to the exact location on your PC and then you will need to give an appropriate title to it. Remember in the Description box you can give the file name if you don’t have time. You are free to add more information in this box relative to your image. Also the Tag/Keywords are optional. You can add the Tag as Attachment 1, Attachment 2, Attachment 3, and so on.

Step 5. This step is very important so as to choose the specific location in your article. You just need to select the option “Do NOT show this attachment as a link below the resource. I will use a hyperlink to embed this file inside my resource”.

Here you have an option to resize the image. My suggestion is that you should try to keep the 400 pixels or at max 500 pixels size of all the images in article. Select higher size only if you have one image in your article or if it adds value to your resource.

Now you can click on Submit Attachments.

Step 6. Now you will see the attachment loaded in the resource of your article. Here you have to copy the code which is just next to the image and it looks as follows:

Here if you select the option “Embed Image in Article” then your image will be added at the end of your resource or article.

In this way you will now have to edit your Resource or Article so as to add this attachment (Image) at a particular location in your resource. After placing the image link code in your resource you must select the option “Article is ready to publish”.

Add YouTube Videos to your resource :

In the same way you can add the YouTube videos in your articles. Just check the following article.

To add the YouTube video you just need to go to the exact video that you want to share in your articles and click on “share” button. After that you will find a video URL which can be posted as a link in your resource.

The embed code of above video is pasted here as follows: Remember you will not be able to see the code but you will see the video which just needs a click to play that video.

Now to embed that video just as I have posted in the article above, you need to click on “Embed Video” and the code will be generated which you have to copy and paste in your resource. Check this image below where you will find the code that you can embed in your resource.

If you want to insert images to a specific location in your resource or article then you just need to select two options which are:

Not ready to publish yet option and the option saying that “I want to add attachments to this resource”.

In the next step you have to add the attachments and submit them with selecting the option depicting “Do Not Show this attachment as a link below the resource. I will use a hyperlink to embed this file inside my resource”.

At last you will need to edit your resource by going to your drafts section and paste the code which is just next to images which are the attachments to your resource and while submitting just select “Article is ready to publish”.

Remember try to use the size of images of about 400 to 500 pixels and select larger size only if necessary.
