This dissertation is advising students to pay attention to their circadian rhythm in their routine to score higher up in merit list of the coming board examination.



Every student should prepare a routine for the board examination. One becomes bored by reading continually the same subject and focus fritter away. Therefore, give room to different subjects in your routine one after the other. This will keep your interest in studies brewing. Some factors need to be paid attention to get the expected result:
  • Prepare a time-table and follow it strictly. Put two or more subjects daily in your time- table to keep your interests in tact.

  • Refrain from night study as far as is possible. It adversely affects your health.
  • Choose a peaceful and airy room for studies and sit in correct postures on chair-desk.
  • Don’t forget blinking your eyelids while engrossed in your studies. If the fatigue is felt in excess, close your eyes with the palms.
  • Concentration is utterly necessary at the time of studies.
  • Prepare notes of your own in stead of depending on guess papers. Get your notes examined by your senior or your teacher.
  • Don’t go on installing to read the hard subjects for future. Give proper attention to them first. Take the helps from guide or teachers.
  • To memorize the formulae of mathematics, dates of history, phrases ad idioms of English, prepare separate charts and hag them down the walls of your study room. Keep on repeatedly memorizing them.
  • Some students consume tea and coffee in excess to ward off sleeps. To avoid this habit, keep o taking, juice, salads, sprouts etc from time to time during the course of studies in stead.
  • It is better to study in a relaxed manner and mood than to be studying continually for a long stretch in a single sitting. Do not abandon talking to relatives in the home or friends to relax a bit. You can watch your favorite TV program for ½ an hour at the most. Your weariness shall recede.
  • Do the practice of writing to the maximum. Oftentimes, questions in the examination hall are left out un-answered due to the paucity of times. Writing practice thwarts this malady. Take care your writing is neat and clean while giving the answers in a swift manner I the examination hall.

After sometimes, reduction in this alertness begins to dawn and the person again becomes fully alert after the passage of 12 hours. If everybody wakes in the morning at 4'O'clock to study, not all would be benefitted from this exercise necessarily. Though it canot be denied the morning's fresh air feels energetic and full of vitality. But so far as reading ad remembering subjects is concerned, one should prepare his routine of study by identifying his circadian rhythm only.

Planning your studies according to your circadian rhythm


If the morning time is not best for your alert state as per your circadian rhythm, fix this hour to read interesting and simple subjects. For the complex and hard subjects, choose the time when your mind is at the maximum alert. This time could be identified and pin pointed by you by paying attention for 3-4 days after which, you shall come to know of your time when your mind remains fully alert. It has been said that in order to understand any subject and keep it in memory, the subject should be read once, pondered over twice and written thrice.

By reading the subject once, just deliberate upon what points the subject comprises and note them down. Ponder over what the relevance of those points to the subject read is and what the end analysis is. If while brooding, the studied article is not coming in series in your memory, that needs reading again. If after thinking over the matter, you feel it has correctly been imprinted into your memory, jot that down thrice. By writing, things get memorized for a long time. Alongside you also know by writing the answer as to the time taken in the process. If you do not practice over writing answers within the time frame, questions would be left out to be answered in the examination hall by you. Therefore, it is vital to repeatedly do the practice of writing.
