Admissions to MBBS, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm),Doctor of Pharmacy (D Pharm) is through online entrance test. Application fee and entrance test feeRs.1600 to be paid online along with filling the Application form downloaded from the official web site firstname.lastname@example.org. Last date for receipt of Application for Admission test for these courses is 25-03-2013. Online entrance schedule for these courses is 15-04-2013 to 15-05-2013. Test centers are located in various important cities spread throughout India. First, candidates have to apply for the entrance test by online or by purchasing the application form from selected branches of State Bank of India and by sending the completed form along with the DD in the name of Manipal University payable at Manipal. After this the applied candidates have to select the Online Test Booking Schedule from 21-03-2013 to 28-03-2013. A candidate once selected the slot, the center and the slot won't be changed.

Syllabus for the Entrance Test
The syllabus for the entrance test of these courses is based on 10+2 syllabus followed by major Boards/Universities of India. The subjects tested for this entrance test include Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and General English.
Mode of Entrance Test
Duration of test is 2 hours 30 minutes. Type of questions asked in the entrance test are Multiple choice questions (MCQ). No negative marks. Approximate distribution of questions Physics- 60 questions, Chemistry-60 questions, Biology-80 questions and English and General Aptitude 40 questions. Candidates for the courses will be selected basing on the merit rank of the student. Through counseling selected candidates will be admitted into the courses basing the rank got by the candidates in the entrance tests conducted for these courses.
Commencement of classes
Commencement of classes for MBBS course is on 01-08-2013, for BDS course is on 30-07-2013, for B Pharm and D Pharm on 20-07-2013.
