There are various prospects by studying Psychology. There are various options of career in this. First of all Psychology is a very interesting subject which makes you feel and know more about Human behaviour, Emotions, feelings, thinking of a person etc. etc.
There are various braches in Psychology. Career prospects in Psychology depend on the area of specialization. They can specialise in various areas and there are psychologogists like Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychologists, Social Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Industrial Psychologists, Research psychologists, Developmental psychologists etc.
By mere learning Psychology you can also lead a profession of teaching.
Psychologists work in a number of different settings, including universities and colleges, primary and secondary schools, government agencies, private industry, hospitals, clinics, and private practices. They are also employed in social welfare organizations, research establishments, rehabilitation centres, prisons, child/ youth guidance centres, advertising industry and in a variety of other set-ups.
If you have interest in practice of medicine you can become a Psychiatrist too.
